The drivers of the vehicles were said to have sustained serious injuries.
Police in the Pretoria North policing precinct were calling for witnesses to a head-on collision to come forward.
“We are calling on anyone who witnessed a head-on collision between a white Toyota Etios and a silver Hyundai Atos along Lavender Road on November 21 to present themselves to the Pretoria North police station,” spokesperson Sergeant Tsakani Miyen said.
The collision reportedly took place a short distance away from the Sasol Garage, between 20:30 and 21:00.
“We are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to come forward and assist us with information,” she said.
The drivers of the vehicles were said to have sustained serious injuries.
Witnesses, Miyen said, could contact Warrant Officer Momberg on 083 419 9766.
In November, at least 20 people were injured in an accident that involved two taxis and a truck in the west of Pretoria.
About 20 people sustained moderate to serious injuries while one critically injured patient was airlifted to a private hospital.
The jaws-of-life had to be used to get the truck driver out of the truck.
According to Best Care’s Xander Loubser, the driver of the mini-truck claimed one taxi tried to overtake the other and ended up colliding head-on with his truck.
