Two injured in north truck-car crash
One of the injured drivers was rushed to hospital after she was removed from the vehicle she was trapped in.

Two people were injured when a truck and sedan collided near the R101 and Kromdraai Road intetsection on Monday afternoon.
Tshwane metro police department spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said an eyewitness told of how the truck driver was travelling direction south when he swerved and lost control of the truck.
“Due to the slippery conditions, he lost control and his vehicle overturned about two times,” he said.
It was reportedly while the truck overturned, it collided with the sedan which was travelling from Hammanskraal.
The truck driver was understood to have been trying to reduce the truck’s speed to avoid bumping into other vehicles which had also reduced their speed due to a vehicle which was stuck on the roadway.
“Firefighters used the jaws-of-life to free the female driving the sedan and she was immediately taken to hospital although she had not sustained any visible physical injuries,” Mahamba said.
