Partly cloudy conditions dominate Pretoria this week

Afternoon thunderstorms are predicted for Wednesday but Thursday and Friday won't see any rain.

Partly cloudy weather is in store for Pretoria residents this week with temperatures peaking in the high 20s.

SA Weather Services forecaster Bransby Bulo said there was a small chance of afternoon showers compared to last week.

“For Monday, we expect temperatures to rise to 27°C, but no rain is expected,” he said.

Tuesday would see clear skies in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy for the rest of the day, said Bulo.

He said there was a 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

On Wednesday, temperatures sill start at 17°C and peak at 28°C.

Bula said afternoon thunderstorms were predicted for Wednesday but Thursday and Friday won’t see any rain.

“For the rest of the week going into Saturday, we are expecting partly cloudy conditions with temperatures reaching 30 on Saturday but no rain is predicted,” he said.
