Water interruptions expected in parts of Centurion
The maintenance will take up to eight hours from 08:00 until 16:00.
Centurion residents can expect water supply interruptions on Wednesday as the City of Ekurhuleni continues its emergency maintenance of a water supply network at The Reeds and Kosmosdal.
This operation is a continuation of initial maintenance carried out in May that the City’s technicians could not conclude due to problems experienced during the tie-in connection to the existing main pipeline.
According to a press release by the City, the maintenance will take up to eight hours to complete from 08:00 until 16:00.
It may result in a water supply interruption in these areas:
– Kosmosdal extensions 51, 65, 66, 81, 82, 83, 85 and 86
– The Reeds extensions 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 15, 19, 20, 29, 30, 34, 41, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49, 54, 55 and 67
– The rest of Rooihuiskraal Noord and Heuweloord extensions
The following businesses may also be affected:
– Blue Valley Mall
– Cloud 9 Bedding Store
– GP Mobile Mechanics
