New development in north of Pretoria
“The building of a new school, residential areas and a mall is in the pipeline, and is expected to create 45 000 job opportunities.”
Residents of Pretoria North can look forward to a new development that will add value to their area.
According to DA councillor of ward 2, Yolanda Duvenage, the Rainbow Junction will be developed on 140ha in the vicinity of Paul Kruger extention and Die Poort, next to Lavender Road.
“The building of a new school, residential areas and a mall is in the pipeline, and is expected to create 45 000 job opportunities.
“Rainbow Junction Development Pty (Ltd) is the developer and we expect the development will attract more investors.”
Another thing that Duvenage is excited about, is the municipal budget that was approved two weeks ago and which will be implemented from July 1.
“It is a pro-service delivery budget, but community members will have to co-operate to benefit from that.
“All complaints need to be reported and a reference number needs to be obtained. If a complaint has not been reported, residents must expect no help from the metro in that regard.”
