Police arrested two men for the alleged possession of drugs valued at more than R20 000 in Ga-Rankuwa on Friday.
Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Amanda Van Wyk said the arrests followed an intelligence-driven operation.
She said the police followed up on information regarding suspected drug-related activities in the area.
“Two different addresses were identified and searched which resulted in the recovery of drugs with an estimated combined value of over R20 000.
“Police arrested two suspects, aged 47 and 41, for possession of drugs.”
