Bronkhorstspruit residents urged to use water sparingly during repairs

The repairs are scheduled for six hours from 08:00 until 14:00.

The Tshwane metro has urged residents supplied water by the Zithobeni reservoir supply to use water sparingly as it carries out emergency repairs on Wednesday.

“The repairs will be carried out on a major water leak located in the supply pipeline to the reservoir,” said metro spokesperson Selby Bokaba.

He said a water supply interruption was, however, not anticipated on the day because the Zithobeni and Ekandustria reservoirs will be filled before the shutdown.

The repairs were scheduled for six hours from 08:00 until 14:00.

Should residents in the below-mentioned areas not heed the call to use water sparingly, a service interruption may occur:

– Bronkhorstspruit

– Cultura Park Extension 11

– Ekandustria

– Ekangala A, B, C, D, E and F

– Erasmus

– Hondsrivier
