Sing like a Planet, October 23

The Palissander Chamber Choir will be celebrating their 30th year from 14:00 this weekend at Pierre van Ryneveld Geloofsfamilie. Inspired by the way planets produce sound spontaneously as they move through space, the theme celebrates that every person has a unique song that they can share with others. “To sing like a planet” is to make irrepressible, authentic music just because of who you are. The programme moves from the music of the planets to the music of the soul and Palissander’s own irrepressible music, “palissander taal”. It includes exciting new works as well as long-time favourites.
