Warm cloudy weekend in store for Pretoria
SA Weather Service issued a warning for thunderstorms as near as Harties, but Pretoria is predicted to have a warm weekend with cloudy and rainy weather.
Pretoria is set to have a warm weekend, with cloudy weather and scattered rain and late thundershowers until Tuesday.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 27°C on Saturday, and 25°C on Sunday.
Cloudy weather and rain showers are expected for the start of the day on both Saturday and Sunday, developing into showers and thundershowers in the evening. The same is expected for Monday, with the weather clearing up from Tuesday.
This is despite a level 2 warning issued by the South African Weather Service (SAWS) for severe thundershowers stretching from the east and south coast to Hartbeespoort, Rustenburg and further towards Botswana.
A level 2 warning is given for weather conditions with a high likelihood, but that have a minor impact.
