Three people injured after car crashes into tree in Lyttleton
Paramedics reported that the accident happened around 3:45 on Saturday morning.
Three people sustained moderate to severe injuries after their small passenger vehicle crashed into a tree on Saturday morning.
The accident happened on Kruger Avenue in Lyttleton, according to local paramedic service CERT-SA.
CERT-SA, STVA LifeMed, Netcare911 and Tshwane Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
The exact circumstances leading up to the accident are unclear at this stage.
Heyns said the three patients suffered moderate to severe injuries from the impact of the collision.
“They were transported to a local hospital for medical attention.”
The exact cause of the accident will form part of a police investigation.
