Local talents celebrated in Pretoria at Afri-Indie awards

The event honoured the best of South Africa’s independent music artists with a glitzy event attended by the who’s who of Pretoria and beyond.

Pretoria’s most well-known names in local music came together for a night of glitz and glam to honour the best independent artists in South Africa, with some travelling as far as Dubai for the special evening.

The South African Independent Music Awards (Afri-Indie) has been acknowledging the wide range of creative works by musical artists, songwriters, music producers and videographers from the independent music scene since 2019.

The audience was treated to a spectacular performance by the talented Rayne, complete with a troop of dancers, to start the night off before the nominees were honoured with their awards.
