Early morning collision causes several deaths

Seven people sustained fatal injuries in a collision on the R566 Rosslyn Road, just across Doornplaat this morning.

According to Arrive Alive, it was reported that a BMW and a truck collided, resulting in the truck veering off the road into the fields.

This caused heavy traffic as pieces of debris from both the car and the truck lay across the road, as well as the bodies of the victims who died in the collision.

Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Services along with Station 21 were on the scene to offer assistance to the victims.

They thanked the traffic officer who controlled the traffic away from the scene.

Motorists are warned to keep their eyes on the road as accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.
