Ga-Rankuwa author shares journey of forgiveness through books

Growing up as an orphan and being molested at a young age, author Cynthia Ntuli shares her story of deliverance and forgiveness.

A Ga-Rankuwa author who grew up as an orphan had to overcome a challenging childhood and difficult circumstances at a young age.

Cynthia Ntuli writes about this experience in two books released on October 14 titled The Power of Forgiveness and How to Navigate Parenthood.

Ntuli told Rekord her books were based on her personal experience of growing up without parents and how she learned to forgive those who had wronged her.

Her story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the healing power of forgiveness.

She said The Power of Forgiveness is about the pain she has experienced and the difficult situations she has been subjected to.

“It is based on my true life story, but not only that, there are some solutions of what to do when you are in similar pains that you feel you cannot tell anyone about.”

She said people could learn about forgiveness by reading the book.

“It takes you on a journey of healing the wounded inner child and the soul that has been struggling to overcome fear, pain and disappointment,” said Ntuli.

She said The Power of Forgiveness teaches one understanding of how, when and why to forgive, especially those who did inhumane things in our lives.

“It will help readers with deliverance, steps of forgiving and learning more on the process of forgiveness which leads to light and healing.”

She said her book offers a message of hope for anyone who has experienced abuse and trauma, and inspires readers to find the strength to forgive and move forward.

“God inspired me to write the book, so that I may help people who are going through what I went through,” she said.

Having moved from place to place in her childhood, Ntuli said that also triggered her to share her journey.

“My writing is based on the experiences I faced, the treatment, lack of childhood care and the pain of having no one to talk to. But my faith in God was another reason for me to write and preach forgiveness.”

She said her second book, How to Navigate Parenthood, is about how to navigate forgiveness in parenthood.

“It talks about children; how to raise them, how to treat them, what to do to orphans and what not to do, this is based on my experience as an orphan.”

She said it would help biological and foster parents how to pray for their kids, solve arguments and build a healthy relationship.

Ntuli encouraged people to read the books, as they could provide a positive light in every dark situation.

She said the books would help people navigate every bad situation, as long as they have faith in God and learn to forgive as it is part of healing.
