Warmer Pretoria conditions expected from Wednesday – SA Weather Service

Pretorians can expect pleasant warm temperatures for the rest of the week.

Pretorians can breathe a sigh of relief as the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has predicted clear weather as from Wednesday.

SAWS’s spokesperson Lehlohonolo Thobejana said there would be 30% chance of showers later on Tuesday afternoon.

“We are expecting cloudy conditions throughout the day and the precipitation amount throughout the week is expected to change from 0% to 10%.

The highest chance for precipitation will be around 22:00 and the lowest probability around midnight,” Thobejana added.

He added that there was a chance of a few clouds on early Wednesday morning, with the highest temperatures of the day expected to be 27ºC at about 16:00.

“The day will have comfortable humidity, with an average humidity of 59%, ranging from 34% to a maximum value of 94% at about 05:00. There will be a breeze and will reach 18km/h at 220:00, blowing from the north-east.

The cloud coverage will range from 0% around 19:00 to as high as 36% around 10:00 with an average of 11%”.

Thobejana said there was no probability of any precipitation throughout Wednesday adding that the dew point would range from 10°C up to a maximum value of 11°C around 19:00.

“On average, the air quality on this day will be good and air pollution poses little or no risk.

According to our index, ranging from 0 to 500, the air quality is going to be between values of 18 and 42.”
