Pedestrian knocked down in Centurion

The pedestrian was allegedly struck by a minibus while crossing the road near at a bus stop area.

A pedestrian was involved in an accident on Ruimte Road near Baard Road in Celtisdal Centurion.

The incident occurred on February 24.

According to emergency response service, CERT, in a statement, “A man sustained critical injuries when he was struck by a minibus while crossing the road at a bus stop.”

It said the patient was stabilised on the scene and rapidly transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown, and Police have launched an investigation.”
