Mams family pleads for help in finding missing father

Benjamin Solomon Kopanye (68) of Section D1 was last seen on October 15, 2023.

The police need help in searching for a Mamelodi man who went missing eight months ago.

Benjamin Solomon Kopanye (68) of Section D1 was last seen on October 15, 2023, wearing a navy blue jersey, grey trousers, and black and navy sneakers.

His son, Lucky, reported him missing on October 17.

He had last seen him that morning on his way to Kwa-Mhlanga in Mpumalanga.

“We have searched for my father in hospitals, mortuaries, and police stations,” he said.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Daphney Maila, confirmed police are investigating a missing person’s case.

She said the family is pleading with the public to help locate him.
Kopanye is bald.

“His right foot has a big wound, and he limps.”
