Four injured in Centurion car accident over the weekend
Two people sustained moderate injuries while the other two were rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

Four people were injured in a collision involving a light motor vehicle and a utility vehicle on the corner of Hendrik Verwoerd and Rooihuiskraal roads in Centurion.
According to a statement by the community emergency response team (Cert), the incident occurred around 03:44 on Sunday.
“Two people sustained moderate injuries, while the other two sustained critical injuries and were transported to hospital in a critical condition,” the statement read.
Cert spokesperson Ruan Heynes said three of the people involved in the accident were male and one was female.
“Three occupants in the one vehicle were between 18 and 20, and the other occupant of the other vehicle was in his 40s,” he said.
Various emergency response organisations assisted at the scene, including Netcare 911, Emer-G-Med (Pty) Ltd, Emergency Medical Solutions, MLC Towing, Precision Towing, and First Help Towing.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
