Pretoria’s lucky Lotto winner claims R100 million prize

A Pretoria woman has come forward to claim the R100 million Lotto jackpot, marking the second-largest win in the game's history.

A woman in Pretoria has finally claimed the R100 million Lotto jackpot.

The National Lottery Ithuba said it is thrilled to announce that the lucky participant has officially come forward to claim the R100 million LOTTO jackpot.

It furthermore said this win, which occurred during draw number 2461 on Saturday, August 3, marks the second-largest jackpot in the game’s history.

“The R100 million jackpot, a result of 25 consecutive rollovers, has captivated the nation and sparked excitement among participants. This significant win comes just five years after the historic R110 million jackpot was shared by four participants in 2018.”

The lucky winner has chosen to remain anonymous and expressed her immense gratitude and excitement.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pick n’ Pay in Hazeldean Square in Pretoria.

“We are overjoyed to celebrate this monumental win with our latest jackpot winner, especially during Women’s Month.
