A delivery biker was killed in an accident on Solomon Mahlangu drive on Monday evening.
According to the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit (VEMRU) they received a call just after 21:00 on Monday evening.
“On arrival, we found one patient who sustained injuries to their head after a delivery motorbike and vehicle collided. The rider showed no signs of life and was declared dead on arrival.”
VEMRU said the driver of the other vehicle was assessed and sustained no injuries.
“SAPS was on scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
” Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit (VEMRU) is a registered NPO and PBO that responds to medical and trauma emergencies for free.”

Meanwhile, in other news, Pretoria motorists can expect a fuel price increase next week, with petrol and diesel prices projected to rise between 18 and 30 cents per litre.
This hike is driven by elevated global oil prices and a recent weakening of the rand, impacting daily travel costs across the region.
