Truck accident on N14 claims three lives
One other person was critically injured and rushed to Steve Biko hospital.
A devastating truck accident on the N14 at Eeufees has resulted in the deaths of three men, with another person critically injured.
According to the spokesperson of the Tshwane Emergency Services, Valentine Matlala the accident took place around 08:00 on Friday.
Matlala said the tragic event unfolded when the driver of the truck experienced a brake failure, which led to a loss of control.
“The truck overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof.
“Three occupants of the truck were found entrapped and were declared dead on arrival,” Matlala stated.
He added that one other passenger was critically injured and was transported to Steve Biko Hospital for urgent medical attention.
The condition of the injured passenger is currently unknown.
