R200m revamp to turn east mall into vibrant hub
The project is expected to be completed by the second half of this year.

The second half of 2025 will see a Pretoria east shopping centre transformed into a “modern, vibrant retail hub”.
Lynnridge Mall is undergoing a multi-million rand redevelopment process.
The construction is committed to delivering an elevated shopping experience with a modern design featuring new stores alongside longstanding favourites.
The total cost of the revamp is estimated to be more than R200-million.
The project scope encompasses a comprehensive reconfiguration of various tenants.
“This redevelopment aims to deliver an enhanced shopping journey, featuring new stores alongside long-standing favourites,” the statement read.
It said the transformation will also include a modern design and ample convenient parking.
With an investment exceeding R200 million, this redevelopment will unveil a refreshed identity as Lynnridge Walk.
“The new name, Lynnridge Walk, reflects a vibrant, community-focused identity – a destination designed to meet everyday needs while fostering connection and convenience.”
“They are expected to redevelop the mall, with a dateline set for the second part of this year,” read the statement.
While much of Lynnridge Mall will temporarily close during refurbishment, several stores will still remain open to meet the needs of the community.
