14-hour long-planned maintenance in north on April 15
The Rosslyn water meter will be replaced.
The Tshwane metro is cautioning residents about a possible 14-hour water interruption planned for April 15.
Metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the planned maintenance of the Rosslyn North water meter would take place after the Tshwane metro had been notified by Rand Water about planned maintenance.
“On this day, the water utility will replace and upgrade the said water meter,” he said
The maintenance will last for 14 hours, from 06:00 to 20:00.
The following areas and business amenities will be affected:
– BMW Vehicle Distribution Centre
– Inbev SAB
– Nampak
– Nkwe Estate
– Rosslyn Industrial area
– RW Hartebeeshoek Direct (SAB) PRV 1
“The City of Tshwane sincerely apologises for the inconvenience that may be encountered due to the above-mentioned planned maintenance,” said Mashigo.
Residents are encouraged to conserve and use water sparingly during this difficult time.
Adhere to the following guidelines:
– Do not water gardens.
– Do not wash cars.
– Do not clean driveways or pavements using hose pipes.
– Do not fill swimming pools.
– Flush toilets only when necessary.
– Close a running tap while brushing your teeth.
– Reduce daily water usage as much as possible.
