Mamelodi woman found safe

Raisibe Helen Ramampa (35) was reported missing on August 1.

A Mamelodi woman who went missing after telling her partner she was going to meet a friend on August 1 has been found safe.

Raisibe Helen Ramampa (35) from Mamelodi West was last seen going to Channel West, where she later left with an unknown man.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Daphney Maila confirmed that she was found safe on Monday.

Maila said Ramampa was last seen at her residence in Mamelodi West wearing white jeans, long black and brown boots, and a black and white blazer.

Shortly after her disappearance, family members contacted the police, who opened a missing person’s case.

Maila also said that there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
