250 Sosh residents receive housing title deeds
More good news for Soshanguve as Gauteng Treasury MEC Jacob Mamabolo announced on Thursday that the current Gauteng administration has decided to expand infrastructure service delivery which will see the province employing 80 000 in the next 12 months.
Soshanguve extension 4 resident Johannes Hlope was joyful after receiving a title deed along with 250 new homeowners on Thursday.
The title deeds were handed over by MEC for Gauteng human settlements and infrastructure Lebogang Maile.
Hlophe said he’s happy to have received the title deed that he has been waiting for since 1997.
The 25 years of waiting came to an end as Hlophe finally managed to get his hands on his title deed.
“I’m happy to receive my title deed. I’ve been waiting for it for a long time,” he said.
He thanked the councillors and Gauteng leadership for calling him to collect his title deed.

There was more good news for Soshanguve residents when Gauteng finance MEC Jacob Mamabolo announced that his government will expand infrastructure service delivery in the province .
He said, while delivering his medium term budget on Thursday, that 80 000 people from Evaton, Westbury, Soweto and Soshanguve will be employed over the next 12 months to construct residential units in townships.

He said the Gauteng department of human settlements was allocated R100-million to complete infrastructure projects in the province as part of efforts to develop integrated human settlements and transform the spatial landscape of Gauteng.
