Tshwane announces 8-hour water shutdown for some areas in east

An upgrade to the bulk water meter which supplies the Boardwalk Meander Reservoir will be shut down.

The replacement and upgrade of the bulk water meter, which supplies the Boardwalk Meander Reservoir will be shut down for eight hours.

Some parts of Pretoria east will be affected by the planned bulk water upgrade.

The shutdown is expected to last for eight hours from 18:00 on Tuesday, March 28 until 02:00 on March 29.

The reservoir in question will be filled to its maximum capacity before the shutdown, however, water interruption may be experienced in the following areas:

– Boardwalk (all extensions)

– Boardwalk Meander (all extensions)

– Boardwalk Villas (all extensions)

– Bronberg (all extensions)

– Faerie Glen (all extensions)

– Olympus

The metro apologised for any inconvenience.
