MISS SA CONTESTANT : HESTIE JOOSTE
Jooste is a model and junior financial advisor from Equestria in Pretoria, and she says that she wants to leave her mark on the world through the competition.
“I like that no matter how tough life or situations get, I always find a way to make light of a situation and keep a positive mindset for myself and the people around me,” Jooste says.
She has been modelling since 19, practised martial art Muay Tai for two years and is an avid gym goer.
Jooste currently uses her financial skills to help middle-lower-class earners in the community.
“Many people think that having a financial advisor is for the wealthy or for those with complex portfolios. My goal with this industry is to help middle- and lower-class citizens manage their finances and/or plan retirements to make their lives easier. I want to be able to do more outside of my industry,” she says.
Her favourite artist is Labrinth, favourite TV show is Schitt’s Creek and she loves a T-Bone steak braaied by her dad.
MISS SA CONTESTANT : NATASHA JOUBERT

Natasha Joubert is an entrepreneur and fashion designer from Rooihuiskraal North.
A previous winner of Miss Globe South Africa, Natasha completed her BCom Marketing Management degree in 2020 at Boston City Campus and subsequently started her own business called Natalia Jefferys when she was 19.
“My journey started in 2020 when I first entered as a 22-year-old. I was honoured to later on represent South Africa at Miss Universe in 2021. Shortly afterwards I had to deal with depression issues and knew I had to prioritise my mental health. The result was a mindset change and a different perspective than I’d had before,” Joubert says.
“It was growth and experiences I knew I wanted to share with our generation. I’ve never let circumstances determine my narrative. I deserve to be Miss South Africa because I am a woman of resilience. I do not rely on talent but on my work ethic and hard work.”
Joubert also participated in Miss Globe (Top 5), Miss Rivonia 2018 (winner), Miss South Africa 2020 (second runner-up) and entered Miss Universe in 2020 as Miss Universe South Africa.
She is the youngest of three siblings, with an older brother named Reinier and a sister named Daniellé, who are both attorneys, notaries and conveyancers. Her mother Ninette is also her business partner in Natalia Jefferys and received her law degree at 50 years old and is currently also doing her articles to become a lawyer.
Being a tomboy growing up, Joubert was the only girl in her karate class, she entered South Africa’s Got Talent when she was 11 and enjoys playing Rummikub every night before bed.
She also enjoys watching movies, listening to podcasts and music (her favourite artist is Taylor Swift), and enjoys nothing more than her Oumie’s stew.
“You aren’t a product of your circumstances. You are a product of your choices,” Joubert says.
