Los Hermanos Musicales – The Benchwarmers, June 9

Tomas Taljaard, folk singer/songwriter, and Dale McHardy, prolific guitarist from Pretoria are The Benchwarmers, brothers in music.
They will be joined by special guests, Rewolwe.
The show kicks off on Friday at 19:00 at Café Barcelona.
2Tone Duo, June 10

2Tone Duo presents Yesterday – Today and Tomorrow, which uses live music, storytelling and audience participation to create a fun and informative experience.
The duo says that without music, life would be Bb. (B-flat for the non-musically educated).
The show will begin at 19:00 at the Pierneef Theatre in Riviera
Monumentale Koorfees, June 11

For an enchanting Sunday afternoon, be sure to check out the first Monumentale Koorfees at the Voortrekker Monument from 14:00.
The event boasts beautiful choral music where top school choirs will entertain the audience with their angelic voices.
The festival is presented by the FAK in collaboration with the Adamo chamber choir and SingFonix men’s ensemble.
The first concert will feature the Magaliesberg children’s choir, Laerskool Garsfontein junior choir, Laerskool Garsfontein senior choir, Laerskool Menlopark, SingFonix and Adamo.
December Streets and More, June 11

Join December Streets with Lungelo Moyo, Mia-Kama, and Black Heidi for a Sunday Funday at Railways Café.
December Streets, made up of Tristan Coetzee, Nico van Loggerenberg, Gidion Meyer, Waldo Boshof and Corneil Classen, is an indie rock band that has been thrilling local crowds since 2009.
The pairing with the other local artists is sure to deliver only good vibes, with the line-up set to perform from 12:00 to 16:00.
Valiant Swart and Illimar Neitz, June 11

A meeting of two talents, Valliant Swart brings his 30 years of Afrikaans folk rock to Illimar Neitz’s guitar excellence for an intimate afternoon at Café Barcelona in Colbyn at noon on Sunday.
If you can’t make it to the event, fret not. The pair will be performing at various venues leading up to the launch of Valiant Swart’s new album, Rondry, Fliek en die Buitelewe, at the Atterbury Theatre on July 4.
Megan-Geoffrey Prins, Piano recital, June 11

Megan-Geoffrey Prins presents Mystical Encounters a captivating programme featuring the enchanting compositions of Maurice Ravel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Sergei Rachmaninov.
Prins has performed as a soloist and collaborative artist in North America, Europe, Africa and Hong Kong. He is currently a full-time piano lecturer at the faculty of the University of Pretoria: School of the Arts.
The recital will start at 11:30 at the Association of Arts Pretoria in Nieuw Muckleneuk.
