Mams author launches second book
The book tells stories on how people and animals lived together and interacted with each other.
A Mamelodi man has put ink to paper again to write his second book.
Joli Masete (31) of Mamelodi East Phase 2 wrote his second book The world shall be changed by creative and positive thinking.
He said the second book is different to his first, which was motivational.
“This book is loaded with six short stories aimed to empower and give wisdom to one’s mind,” said Masete.
The book is for everyone to read, young and old.
“The book tells stories on how people and animals lived together and interacted with each other,” he said.
He said he was inspired to write the book because he wanted people to understand different animal behaviours.
“The book is empowering for young people. The stories are rich with education,” said Masete.
He said the lesson in this book is very nourishing to one’s mind, it forces young minds to think out of the box.
“I believe if we sharpen their minds from a young age it will be easier for them to stay positive and believe in themselves as they grow.”
He added the stories will teach them to observe life from different angles.
“Dreams and passion are destroyed when one gives up, but the book will educate them of the values of waiting and letting go of what is bad for a person.”
The book will assist one take over the kingdom without shedding blood.
“What are we waiting for, when the power is in your hands.”
Masete encouraged residents to buy the book and read it to challenge their world.
“Live the life of your dreams without fear. Think positive and attract green pastures,” he said.
Do not be afraid: You are destined to be great is Masete’s first book.
The second book was published on July 10 and retails for R200.
