Mams police search for man missing for three years
The family last saw him when he came to visit in November 2020.

Police are investigating a case of a missing person following the disappearance of Kgomotso Charles Monareng (32).
Police spokesperson Sergeant Penelope Khulong said the Nellmapius ext. 24 resident was last seen by his sister in November 2020.
She said Moganeng lived in Skierlik in the far east of Mamelodi at the time of his disappearance.
“The family claimed they last saw him in November when he came to visit and later returned to Skierlik,” said Khulong.
Sister Shamaine Monareng reported him missing a few days after noticing she hadn’t seen him in a while.
She said nobody in the family had seen him since his visit.
Shamaine said family search parties had been to his place of residence to check if the neighbours knew where he was to no avail.
She said she was concerned that wherever he was, he was not taking medication for his mental illness.
“We have searched almost everywhere for him, at friends’ places, family and relatives but no one has seen him,” said Shamaine.
She said Monageng was short, of medium weight, dark in complexion and spoke fluent Sepedi.
Khulong said there was no waiting period to report a person missing.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can contact Shamaine on 076 999 4106, Mamelodi East police on 012 815 7000 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
