Pretoria east police stations remain in top 30 most troubled nationally

Brooklyn Police Station has seen a decrease of 2.1% in its crime statistics this year.

Brooklyn police station in the east of Pretoria has recorded a 2.1% decrease in its crime figures for the period from July 1 to September 30.

Among the six police stations in the east and far east of Pretoria, Brooklyn remains the most troubled. It has been ranked number 14 on the list of seriously crime-plagued South African police stations.

Though the station has recorded the 2.1% decrease, this however does not mean that crime plaguing vehicle owners, violent contact sexual crimes and cash-in-transit crimes have been driven down through police operations or interventions in the east of Pretoria.
