Eco Park Black Friday Market, November 25

This market will be a showcase of what the community has to offer, and a chance to support local products and services.

It takes place at the Eco Boulevard shopping centre in Eco-Park estate in Pretoria. It will run from 08:00 to 16:00.

There is a full programme to look forward to: an exhibition of super cars, a kiddies area for the little ones to burn off some energy, live music and entertainment as well as market stalls with everything from handmade goods to delicious food.

ToyRun Pretoria, November 26

The festive season is a time of giving and connection, and the bikers of Pretoria take the time to give back in a spectacular annual event.

The ToyRun has been a fixture of the season for 18 years and will once again draw bikers from across the province and beyond.

The Mass Ride will begin at Kolonnade retail park at 08:00 en route to Lavender Kontrei Market where there will be live entertainment and food stalls.

For entry, bring along new toys, kids stationery, non-perishable food and cash donations to spread the season’s cheer.

Lawley Street Lights Christmas Carols, November 29

The legendary Lawley Street Lights draws visitors from across the province as they come to experience the stunning Christmas light display from December 1.

However, this year, the homes of Lawley Street were asked to set up slightly early for a special Christmas Carol singing event at 234 Lawley Street to kick of the season’s spirit.

The singing will take place between 19:00 and 20:00.

Kamers Makers Festive Fiesta, November 28 to December 3

Get all your Christmas shopping done in one wonderful swoop next week as the 20th year of the Kamers Makers market (Kamers vol geskenke) will be held at Menlyn Maine until next Sunday.

More than 160 of South Africa’s finest brands will be selling the best of fashion, food, skincare, ceramics, jewellery, homeware and everything in-between.

The Festive Fiesta will be open from 09:00 to 17:00 daily, with tickets available online.
