University of Pretoria will host Tshwane University of Technology at the Tuks Stadium on Thursday, for their Varsity Cup semi-final clash.
TUT were the fourth and last team to reach the Varsity Cup semifinal after they comfortably defeated NWU-Pukke 2-0 in Potchefstroom last Thursday.
The Pretoria side dominated the game from start to finish with second-half goals by Thabang Mahlangu and Itumeleng Mogotsi. TUT only needed a point to secure a semifinal berth but went all out to claim an away victory.
Tuks finished second behind University of Western Cape and a win against TUT will see them appear in the final for the second consecutive year.
Another semifinal will pit UWC against Wits in Cape Town.
The men from Cape Town were unbeaten the whole campaign until their last game in which they went down to the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University known as the Madibas.
