Bulls eyeing Super Rugby Quarter-Final
The Bulls travel to Buenos Aires to take on Argentinian Jaguares side.
The Vodacom Bulls are hoping grab an away win when they take on the Jaguares in Argentina on Saturday evening in a SupeRugby encounter.
The Pretoria side still have a chance to make it to the quarter-finals as African conference 1 leaders, but will need to improve on their dreadful away form.
They have 32 points from 12 games.
The Bulls are the only South African team that the Jaguares are yet to play against and according to coach Nollis Marais, they know what to expect.
“To play in Buenos Aires is something new for us, but we already know what to expect from the home side. They will be physical, will be coming at us at a thousand miles an hour and will be looking to caught us napping. We must be ready for anything,” Marais said.
“We also need to make sure we are part of the contest from the first minute.”
Marais named Lappies Labuschagne as captain in place of Adriaan Strauss, who is being rested after helping the Springboks claim a 2-1 series win over Ireland last week.
