Mamelodi Sundowns beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 after a hard-fought victory at Loftus Versveld on Saturday afternoon.
Although kick-off was delayed by 30 minutes due to heavy traffic, in no way did it slow down the tempo of the match.
Sundowns were eager to continue their winning streak against the Chiefs, as the Chiefs have not beaten Sundowns in two seasons.

Despite the Chiefs’ early lead, the Brazilians wasted little time in finding the equaliser through Tebogo Langerman.
10 minutes later, Sibusiso Vilakazi put Downs ahead for the first time in the game.
Sundowns’ forward Anthony Laffor also threatened in the latter stages.
The match eventually finished in favour of the home side and saw the crowd singing Kabo Yellow as they left the stadium.
