Downs and Matsatsantsa avoid each other in semis
Sundowns gets home draw with Vaco da Gama in the semi final of the Nedbank Cup while Supersport United get a tricky away draw to Cape Town to meet Ajax.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United avoided each other in the semi-final draw on Sunday after getting past Mpumalamga BlackAces and Golden Arrows respectively over the weekend.
Sundowns booked their semi-final berth after defeating Black Aces 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup on Sunday afternoon at the Mbombela Stadium. Two goals in the second half from Teko Modise and Themba Zwane were enough to send the Brazilians into the semis where they will battle first division side Vasco Da Gama.
Matsatsantsa on the other hand defeated Arrows 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a Bradley Grobler’s finish in the 71st minute. Supersport will have to travel to Cape Town where they will fight for a place in the final with Ajax Cape Town.
Matsatsantsa coach Gordon Igesund is two wins away from getting his second major trophy with the team this season after winning the Telkom Knockout Cup in December last year. However, Ajax will also look to continue where they left off after sending Bidvest Wits packing on Friday night with a 2-1 victory.
