Blue Bulls through to Vodacom Cup semifinal
The Blue Bulls qualified for the semi-finals of the Vodacom Cup after they beat the Free State in the quarterfinal last Friday.
The Vodacom Cup quarter-final game between the Blue Bulls and Free State was a rather one-sided affair at Loftus Versfeld on Friday evening, where the Blue Bulls beat the men from Bloemfontein by 44-21.
Vodacom Blue Bulls flyhalf Tian Schoeman scored 22 points and centre William Small-Smith added a hat-trick of tries to guide the men from Pretoria to the victory.
The home team scored two tries in the first half and followed that up with three more after the break as they took control of the match to qualify for their 13th semi-final in the Vodacom Cup.
The Blue Bulls will now meet WP on Saturday 23 May in the semi-finals at Newlands in Cape Town. The game will start at 16:30.
