South Africa defeated Argentina 29-14 in the final of Cape Town’s Sevens series on Sunday evening.
The Blitzbokke started the match slowly as they allowed the Pumas to draw first blood.
The Boks replied in style through Rosco Spekman and Seabelo Senatlo to send the Cape Town crowd into raptures.
The Blitzbokke led 17-14 at halftime.
The second half saw the Boks dominate as Senatla got his second try of the day to extend the lead to eight points.
Argentina tried to hit back but Ryno Benjamin put the nail in their coffin to see South Africa win the inaugural Cape Town’s sevens.
The Blitzbokke are now on top of the World Series log with 35 points together with Fiji.
