Glam up your SPAR race T-Shirt
This year's SPAR women's race is likely to be more colourful than ever before.
The sight of 25 000 runners making their way along Centurion’s streets each year is often referred to as “a sea of colour”.
This year, some Pretoria residents might be under the impression that spring has arrived early as bright green was revealed as the 2016 t-shirt colour!
Over the years many ladies running the race have brightened up the race route with their own customised version of the SPAR Women’s Challenge race t-shirt. This year SPAR is encouraging everyone to glam up their shirts any way they like. Post a picture of how you took your shirt from drab to fab on the SPAR Women’s Challenge Pretoria Facebook page and you could walk away with your share of thousands in SPAR store vouchers.
“This year we are celebrating a race tradition that was started by our race participants. We love the way that the runners show their enthusiasm and love for the race by making the official T-shirt their own,” said SPAR North Rand Marketing Director, Jerome Jacobs.
There are tons of ways to customise your shirt from cutting a fringed edge or turning your shirt into a tank top to creating a racer back or decorating it with stencils or rhinestones! You could even add the 2016 race theme, #I’mGrateful, to your shirt and write what you are most grateful for in your life on the back of it. The 2016 Pretoria SPAR Women’s Challenge takes place on 3 September at SuperSport Park Stadium. Entries are now available in selected SPAR Stores and online at www.sparladiespta.co.za.
