TradeUnipoint.com supports SPAR Women’s Challenge
SPAR's partners in the SPAR women race TradeUnipoint.com and The Fit Pit will set an example for other participants and their staff will be well represented at this particular race.
Pretoria’s favourite holiday booking company and Spar Women’s Challenge sponsor TradeUnipoint.com has announced that they will be joining forces with their sister company, The Fit Pit, to enter a total of 148 staff members in the 2016 Pretoria SPAR Women’s Challenge.
“We have decided to use the race this year as one of our team building events,” says Lizelle Knoesen, manager at TradeUnipoint.com. “Each department will have an opportunity to dress up – the men as women, and the women just looking fabulous and we plan to hold an awards ceremony afterwards, with prizes for the best dressed team, as well as a Spirit Cup. So we’ll be there on the day, making a lot of noise and enjoying the race.”
Lizelle says that TradeUnipoint.com aligned with the SPAR Women’s Challenge as a sponsor because of how much the TradeUnipoint.com and SPAR brands have in common.
“What made the partnership with SPAR a natural fit is that they share our values of caring about people in our community, consistently striving to meet our clients’ needs, valuing families and providing a family-focused experience,” said Lizelle.
“At TradeUnipoint we understand what holidays are really about – the opportunity to give our families and loved-ones the best of ourselves and to make beautiful memories to cherish for a lifetime. In the same way, the SPAR Women’s Challenge provides an opportunity for people to come together in a fun-filled, wholesome environment and participate in an awesome event – not only for the participants, but also for those who stand to benefit from the proceeds – and we love that.”
Lizelle explained that in association with TradeUnipoint.com, they also decided to bring one of their new entities, The Fit Pit, on board as a race sponsor as well.
“The Fit Pit is truly something unique and not your normal gym. It is based in Silver Lakes. It has a keen focus on the well-being of Pretoria’s ladies, and offers spinning, Pilates, combat, CrossFit, MMA, kickboxing, kids kickboxing, self-defence and anti-bullying classes.”
According to Lizelle, what has really inspired their entire team to enter the race is this year’s theme of gratitude.
“Gratitude to us is being thankful for that which has been entrusted to us, and showing our appreciation towards our staff – their hard work – and our company. Our staff members are our most valued asset and we are justly thankful for each person! Secondly, we are thankful that we are blessed to be a blessing and are able to build a Children’s Home through our NPO, African Blessings. Lastly, we are so thankful to be part of the race, to be healthy and ready to run the 5km, and to do it as a united team.”
