Flying Fish Beach Volleyball at Tshwane 10’s

The Flying Fish Beach Volleyball series will feature at the first-ever Tshwane 10’s Rugby event next weekend at the Harlequins club in Groenkloof.

The third Flying Fish Beach Volleyball tournament in this year’s series returns to Pretoria as part of one of the country’s biggest sporting festivals next weekend.

Thousands of people are expected to flock to the Harlequins Rugby Club in Groenkloof, Pretoria, between 28 and 29 October. Various sporting codes including rugby, netball, dodgeball and beach volleyball will form part of the inaugural Tshwane 10’s weekend.

Spectators will be rubbing shoulders with some of South Africa’s rugby heroes, Cape Town 10’s co-founders Rob Fleck and Bob Skinstad along with the legendary Bok lock pairing of Bakkies Botha and Victor Matfield. Others include fellow Springboks Derick Hougaard, James Dalton and Fourie du Preez.

The Flying Fish Beach Volleyball tournament will also feature a number of celebrity teams including 5FM DJ’s Nicole da Silva and Thando Thabete, Afrikaans pop singer Arno Jordaan, popular socialite and blogger Mika Stefano will all be adding their unique flavour as they compete in our ever-growing social league. These teams will ensure the action remains hot, both on and off the sand.

Spectators can look forward to lots of action over the three days. In true Flying Fish fashion, the #FlavourFontein area will help create a festive atmosphere including live entertainment, mixology stations, lounging areas and many more to look forward to.

The sensational entertainment line-up includes Me and Mr Brown, Brent Harris and the Anton Botha Band will ensure the crowd get going on Friday while Arno Jordaan, Pieter Smith, the Barboza Experience and SA/DC will be on stage on the Saturday whilst DJs keep the beats flowing throughout the weekend.
