The Momentum Multiply Titans congratulated a former stalwart of this team, Morné Morkel, on becoming the latest honorary life member for the Marylebone Cricket Cricket (MCC).

Morkel, a long serving member of the Sky Blues and then the Proteas, has always been regarded as one of the game’s finest ambassadors.

“We are very proud of Morné, and this latest accolade from the MCC. He started his journey in the Academy, and he has gone around the world, sharing his passion for the game,” Titans Cricket CEO Dr Jacques Faul enthused.

Morkel, who currently resides in Australia, expressed his delight on social media, amidst a wave of well wishes.

“I have never come across anyone who had a bad word to say about Morné, which is incredible for a big fast bowler. That is just testimony to the spirit in which he played the game, and we couldn’t be prouder of not just what he did on the field, but even more of what he continues to do for it off the field,” Faul added.
