The Bougainville Hospital opened on 1 August 1997 to offer a comprehensive service to the community of Pretoria West. Bougainville Private Hospital recently became part of the Netcare group of Hospitals hence the name change to Netcare Bougainville Hospital.
This 60 bed hospital offers a 17 bed medical ward, 35 bed surgical ward a 4 bed ICU/ High care unit and three operating theatres of which one is a laminar flow theatre.
Complementing the hospital is an independently managed Accident and Emergency unit as well as a Radiology unit, Pathology Laboratories and a 24 hours emergency department.
