Man driven over on N4 highway
A man lost his life after attempting to cross busy highway.
A pedestrian was tragically killed on the N4 highway outside Pretoria on Saturday night, reported ER24.
A 35 year old man attempting to cross the N4 highway was killed when he was hit and driven over by several cars.
“At around 19:00 on Saturday night, we responded to the scene where we found the man in the middle of the N4 highway in the direction of Rustenburg just outside Pretoria,” said spokesperson Vanessa Jackson.
Paramedics declared him dead on the scene as he had been knocked down and driven over by six other vehicles. “His injuries were too severe for paramedics to be able to do anything to save his life.
Sadly, they had no other option but to declare him dead on the scene,” said Jackson.
Police are investigating the incident to determine what took place.
