Matt Damon stars in this epic adventure sci-fi film which sees a manned mission to Mars not turning out as expected.

Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm. Left behind by his crew, Watney has survived, and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist, and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

The Martian will be showing at Nu Metro cinemas in Woodlands Boulevard and Menlyn Shopping Centre.
