Win ticket to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

The December holidays are fast approaching, and with that comes a whole slate of highly-anticipated movie releases – destined to shatter box office records. First in line is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 – the finale in the popular action adventure franchise. And, now South Africans get to see it first when Nu Metro Cinemas host special pre-release screenings at cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, 18 November.

Nu Metro’s pre-release screenings for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 at cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, 18 November will be in Digital 3D. For an extra-sensory, out-of-this-world, ultra-real cinema experience, Nu Metro’s Scene Xtreme cinemas will be screening the film in 3D projected onto Real D’s new PWS screens – delivering a much sharper, brighter image compared to other standard 3D projection technologies.

Another aspect of the Scene Xtreme experience is the latest in sound technology. The screenings for the film in Scene Xtreme at Nu Metro Clearwater Mall will feature a full Dolby Atmos soundtrack – delivering all-around surround sound via the most advanced cinema sound system available. Scene Xtreme Clearwater is the only cinema in Gauteng equipped with Dolby Atmos technology.

Scene Xtreme at Nu Metro The Glen and Menlyn Park Shopping Centre will screen the film with a Barco Auro 11.1 soundtrack – also delivering a more realistic, immersive audio experience compared to other cinemas. No other cinemas in South Africa feature this advanced, next-generation sound system – which also includes overhead surround sound effects.

The screenings for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 at all other Nu Metro Cinemas will be projected with the latest in Digital 3D technology, coupled with top-of-the-range Dolby Digital surround sound.
