The holidays are now over, but the festive fun is still going strong in true spirit at Nu Metro Cinemas. The Good Dinosaur continues the holiday fun into 2016 with the Silly Season-campaign at cinemas nationwide – kids stand a chance to win amazing prices as well as a Toys R Us trolley dash!
Nu Metro Cinemas has also partnered with South Africa’s leading toy retailer, Toys R Us, at all their cinemas nationwide for the Silly Season campaign. Entry to this exciting competition couldn’t be easier: just buy a child-priced ticket for any one of the following kids/family movies, currently scheduled at Nu Metro:
- Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip
- The Good Dinosaur
What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth 65 million years ago missed the planet completely, and dinosaurs never became extinct, but humans still evolved anyway?
The Good Dinosaur is the epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. This new animated adventure from Disney Pixar is perfect entertainment for the whole family, and the best way to conclude Silly Season on a high note.
Each time a child ticket (under 12 years old only) for one of the Silly Season qualifying movies is bought, the ticketholder will be given an entry form to go into a lucky draw for prizes such as a R3000 gift voucher from Toys R Us and a grand prize of a 60-second trolley dash at Toys R Us.
Nu Metro Cinemas is also offering a collectable sticker book as well as a pack of stickers per movie; there is a special sticker pack designed for each of the four qualifying movies. Each sticker pack comes with an entry card which will capture entry details and is also their pass for entering the competition.
This competition will only be valid for Kids Priced-tickets bought at the cinema for the 3D movie. Tickets purchased via the Nu Metro website, App or via the self-service terminals will not be eligible for entry. Entries from all over South Africa will be received by Nu Metro headquarters, and audited.
Winners for the Toys R Us vouchers will be announced at each of Nu Metro’s 19 cinemas nationwide; and will each also submit entries for the national draw, to select a winner to embark on a trolley dash at Toys R Us in February. The closing date for entries is 31 January 2016.
Rekord Newspapers together with Nu Metro are also giving away two tickets to see The Good Dinosaur in 3D at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre and Woodlands Boulevard.
