Stand a chance to perform at Splashy Fen.

Easter weekend 2016 is set to host The Revival of the iconic Splashy Fen Music Festival, SA’s longest running music festival, with international star Xavier Rudd and South African legends, Mango Groove, along with Civil Twilight, as headliners. The festival itself has been running for 26 years, a unique statistic not only for a music brand in South Africa, but worldwide.

This year’s festival will ensure a diverse, high quality and enjoyable music line-up. People attending the festival will leave completely satisfied that the money they spent was worthwhile and it will also ensure a positive economic influence on the local community.

Music Mate, in conjunction with Splashy Fen, are offering a Gauteng-based band the awesome opportunity to showcase their talent at the Splashy Fen music festival from the 24th to the 27th of March 2016.

Bands will be required to perform at a Barnyard Theatre in Pretoria, where the top two bands will go on to blow the judges away at the Music Mate – Road to Splashy Fen at the Barnyard Theatre in Rivonia on Monday 14 March 2016.

Audition dates are as follows:

West Rand: Monday 15 February 2016 – Barnyard Theatre, Cresta Mall.

Pretoria: Monday 22 February 2016 – Barnyard Theatre, Parkview.

East Rand: Monday 29 February 2016 – Barnyard Theatre. Emperors Palace.

The final will be held on Monday 14 March at the Barnyard Theatre in Rivonia.
