Eersterust woman stabbed to death
Detectives appeal to Clayton Andrews to urgently contact the local police station and assist in the investigation as he is believed to have been the last person to have seen the woman alive.

A 42-year old woman was stabbed to death and her body left in an outside room in Eersterust on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela said the incident happened around 06:00.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that this morning her boyfriend allegedly asked for transport money from a family member saying he had a new job somewhere since he was unemployed,” Makhubela said.
Later the woman’s body was discovered in a room outside the house with stab wounds.
“The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage.
“Detectives appeal to Mr Clayton Andrews to urgently contact the local police station and assist in the investigation since he appeared to have been the last person to be in contact with the deceased when she was still alive.”
The provincial commissioner condemned the killings of women in the province in strongest terms and called upon all members of the communities, activists, NGOs and government organisations to assist in the fight against gender-based violence and its manifestations.
Makhubela urged members of the public who might have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist in the investigation to contact the nearest police station or crime stop on 08600-10111 or via the MySAPS App.
