NATIONAL NEWS: Outrage over a video of KNP-guide who kicked pangolin in Kruger

On a guiding trip in the Punda Maria section with visitors a KNP guide left the game vehicle and aggressively kicked a pangolin so he could get a picture of it.

The guide later made comments about going back to capture the animal so he could charge the public to see it. Glenn Phillips, Managing Executive of Kruger National Park is aware of the video and an investigation is underway, Lowvelder reported.

Pangolins are at present the most trafficked animal in the world and the species is on the brink of extinction.
