Lethebo Rabalago who made headlines in 2016 for spraying his followers with Doom insecticide claiming it would heal them, will be sentenced by the Mookgophong Regional Court next week after he was found guilty on four charges of assault and two of contravention of the Agricultural and Stock Remedies Act on Friday.
Communications Manager of the National Prosecuting Authority in Limpopo, Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said the accused was facing two counts of contravention of the act and five of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He was found guilty on all counts and acquitted on one of assault. He remains in custody for sentencing.
